The 12th of November 1995 played a great role in the history of Erdut. That was the day when the Erdut Agreement was signed. On the strenght of that document, the part of eastern Slavonia still occupied by Serbs, would be integrated back into Croatia. It was a redemption for refugees who could finally return to their homes and families.
